Joann's Mom and Dad visited for 3 weeks at the end of October. We spent a few days letting them overcome the jet lag. The first weekend was spent at the International Charity Bazaar at the NATO base. There were vendors from all over Europe, over $80,000 was raised for charities here in our host country. The military spouses from each nation also had their own booths to raise money for charities in their own countries, there was food, wine and gift items from all the NATO nations and it was really a lot of fun. We also toured Pompei and took a drive down the Amalfi Coast before we packed the car for a trip north. We stopped in Rome, Florence, Venice and San Gimignano. We enjoyed each place immensely. Grandpa had purchased a digital camera before his trip and it was well broken in before he left. He took so many beautiful pictures I will make a page for each place we visited.
