On our way back to the Continent we stopped in Avebury, near Stonehenge, and looked at the rocks. The pub we stayed at was really nice and we had a great dinner there. By the time we found a place to stay, unpacked and drove back to the stone circle it was starting to get dark. I teased Jeff the rest of the night for making us trudge out in the dark to get pictures next to a cold rock.
Avebury is 14 times the size of Stonehenge and 500 years older.
