We crossed the Channel, this time we took the Chunnel. Very, very cool! We drove our car right on to the train and 30 min. later we were in France. We drove to Rouen where Joan of Arc was martyred and stayed one night. We then drove a bit further into Normandy and stayed in Bayeux and stayed for a couple of nights. We enjoyed the Norman food and learned more about the history of the area. We also got to go to a fantastic W.W.II museum in Caen where they actually had childcare. I think we must have lost a roll of film or were too busy and too cold to take many picture of Bayeux but it was a very charming little town.
